Important Farm Information
Our farm is our home. Before you visit, here is some information to keep everything running as smooth as a camel’s coat after a fresh brush.
Entry Fee – Guests who visit the farm but choose not to participate in a camel ride will still need to pay an entry fee. This is because simply being at the farm provides a unique experience, and the fee helps us cover essential costs, including insurance.
No Dogs – Unfortunately, we can’t allow visitors to bring their dogs, unless they are assistance animals. While we’re sure your dog is as friendly as ours, every animal has its own personality, and for everyone’s safety and comfort, it’s best not to introduce outside animals to the farm.

Have a Picnic Under the Gum Trees
For anyone with a booking of a ride or an experience, we offer our farm grounds for you to bring your own picnic to enjoy before or after your booking.
We’re proud to share our fantastic frog habitat, home to 16 delightful species of frogs that serenade us with their songs day and night! Situated beside the camels’ resting area, this tranquil spot is shaded by stunning old gum trees and perfectly set up for relaxation. It’s the ideal place to unwind with a picnic while soaking in the soothing symphony of frog calls. Watch local birds like laughing kookaburras and singing magpies splash along the water’s edge, as dragonflies dart gracefully through the air. And, of course, you’ll have a front-row seat to our camels basking in the sun. It’s a slice of nature’s paradise you won’t want to miss.
We offer picnic tables and chairs, or you can bring a picnic rug. We ask that you only leave footprints and take away your rubbish.

At our farm we sell camel milk products, stuffed animals, camel fibre collection and more.

Bushfield Farm Camels is located in the charming countryside of Gundaroo, NSW – just a quick 30-minute drive from Canberra.
