By visiting our farm, you must accept responsibility for any and all risk.

Bushfield Farm Camels Terms & Conditions

  • Personal information – refer to our privacy policy
  • All riders ride at their own risk – refer to liability release form
  • Liability release forms need to be signed before rides or sensory sessions occur.
  • Minimum age to ride our animals is 3 years old
  • 3-5 year olds must be accompanied by an adult on a camel
  • Anyone under the age of 18 needs a parent or guardian to sign a liability release form to ride our animals or participate in experiences
  • A safety talk will be presented before riding sessions commence.
  • We have the right to refuse riders for any safety concerns
  • We are a non-smoking environment, smoking is NOT permitted while riding, or in the areas of our animals.
  • Anyone suspected to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be permitted to engage in experiences or rides.
  • Weight restrictions are in place for the welfare of our camels, the limit per person is 90kg, you may be asked to be weighed before commencing a ride.
  • Anyone with pre-existing back, neck and hip injuries are advised not to ride our animals
  • Pregnant women are advised not to ride our animals
  • Alternate experiences – Sensory Sessions are available to cater to those who cannot ride the animals
  • Helmets must be worn at all times when riding our animals, refusal of wearing a helmet will result in not being able to ride.
  • No use of devices while safety talk is being presented
  • No use of devices while mounting and dismounting the animals
  • No bags are to be carried whilst riding our animals
  • Drones are not permitted
  • Devices can be used while riding our animals to take pictures or videos
  • No dogs are permitted on our farm, exceptions for service dogs – please see staff
  • Rides may be cancelled dependent on weather. This is for the safety of our animals and participants.
